This is the encouragement of Jayawijaya Regency Government to reduce stunting

The Government of Jayawijaya Regency, Wednesday (4/12/2019) held the third stunting consultation in the context of accelerating the reduction of stunting in Jayawijaya Regency. The stunting consultation was conducted by the relevant OPD, involving the village head and district head for the 2020 program.

Jayawijaya Regent, Jhon Richard Banua said that the head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), together with the district head and village head, could work together to reduce stunting in Jayawijaya for the 2020 program.

"I hope that related OPD, the district head and the village head should be able to help facilitate stunting activities in the existing villages and districts, especially for the 20 villages to be in the 2020 program later," Banua said, after opening the activity in the Asum Ukumearek meeting building Wamena, Wednesday, (4/12/2019).

According to him, this is important so that in the future Jayawijaya's human resources must be considered from the start, starting from pregnant women to children aged two years. In addition, the cooperation between the regional government and the village government is that we share funds, to see pregnant women who have to be properly guarded until birth and until the child is two years old.
