Minister of Home Affairs Invites All Parties to Work Together and Build Positive Narratives

The Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian invited all parties to be actively involved in mutual cooperation to conduct post-flood handling that occurred in the Greater Jakarta area since January 1, 2020.

"All must move, plus also the community including companies that have CSR, this is the time to help the affected communities, we work together," he said.

"This afternoon we will have a meeting led directly by the president and the relevant ministries, but now it is only possible to be evaluated where the points that need reinforcement," he said.

Regarding population documents that were lost or damaged by the flood, Tito said that the Directorate General of Dukcapil will immediately republish these documents.

"Residents who have lost or damaged their civil registration documents such as KTP, birth certificates, marriage books and others, I have ordered immediately provide easy and fast services for residents who have lost or damaged their civil registration documents," he said.

The Ministry of Home Affairs through the Head of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kapuspen) Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Bahtiar, also invited all elements to unite to develop Papua, by making a positive narrative.

The government and local government, the private sector and the people of Papua are focusing heavily on building and improving the welfare of the people of Papua. "Improving community services, opening isolated access, telecommunications networks, health services, education and culture, agriculture, plantations, fisheries, marine, tourism and others," he said.

Entering the new year 2020, Bahtiar invites the public to spread coolness and peace. He hoped that no one would strengthen conflict narratives, or negative narratives in any form or matter.
