Putri Papua, Venusiana Papasi Becomes Telkomsel's New Leader

The shareholders of PT Telekomunikasi Selular (Telkomsel) appointed Venusiana Papasi as Telkomsel Network Director. The appointment was made at the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).

As an old face at Telkomsel, Venusiana started her career from the bottom. Most of his track record in Telkomsel was spent in the field handling network infrastructure development such as Base Transceiver Station (BTS).

The task is fairly heavy. Moreover, building networks in remote areas requires difficult efforts. Such as the construction of BTS towers in the outermost area, due to difficult access, so they had to use a helicopter.

The woman who was born in Papua 55 years ago has served as the Head of Network of Eastern Indonesia who was responsible for the development of telecommunications access in remote areas in Eastern Indonesia in 1999.

His hard work in telecommunications network infrastructure and his hard work at Telkomsel for more than 20 years, received attention from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. Venusiana won the Satya Lencana Pembangunan award in the Rudiantara Minister of Communication and Information era in 2015.
