Yila Cahaya Abadi Cooperative or YC Abadi owned by a native of Yahukimo began to move rice planting in 2020 independently. The cooperative is domiciled in Dekai the capital city of Yahukimo Regency, as a center with a total of 55 members and 1 member died.
.
Panuel Maling, Coordinator of YC Abadi, Saturday (4/1/2020) explained, YC ABADI is a Producer's Cooperative which was established on January 13, 2017 and already has a Decree (SK) of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (MKUKM).
.
"Since the cooperative was present until now we have run independently with several types of businesses, including agricultural business units, livestock business units, groceries business units, BBM & voucher business units and then gold mining businesses," Panuel said.
.
In addition to this he revealed, there was some assistance received from the government. "Last year we received assistance from the government, through the fisheries service as many as 4,000 fish seedlings, but at the initial stage we received 200 seedlings. Then we also had several guests who had visited, such as Samuel Director of PLI's brother and guests from the Center, "he said.
.
Then, for agriculture, his side planted rice from the meeting, said he had harvested it and in 2020 it was replanted. According to him, if we are not the only people who are able to provide a path to success. Why do we become heirs of the struggle in managing a better future?
.
"Supposing like this If we are not the smallest part of the success of a person or group of people. Why do we have to be knowledgeable? If we are not the biggest part of the bearer of the people's dream. For what we are present and become part of the community ?, "he said.
.
"That's why I try to do what we know with our community from Una Ukam. With great expectations, we can live independently on our land, and compete with other large entrepreneurs, "he explained.
.
Last November, in conducting a Special National Seminar and Special Central Conference (Konferpussus) organized by the Papua Chamber of Commerce (KAPP), discussed the importance of encouraging indigenous Papuan entrepreneurs (OAP).
.
Musa Haluk, Chairperson of KAPP said that his party is committed to supporting the government in carrying out development. "We have a mission that is to build from village to city, so that the district government in each district should have to support and encourage indigenous Papuan entrepreneurs who struggle independently," said Musa Haluk.
