The Central Jakarta District Court Panel of Judges adjourned the trial of six Papuan political prisoners. The trial was adjourned until Monday 20 January to give the Public Prosecutor a chance to read his response.

The panel of judges asked the defendant to use allowed clothing, but the defendants did not want to carry it out, the defendants Ambrosius Mulait and Dano Anes Tabuni wearing Papuan traditional clothes, Koteka. and don't want to replace it.

"It is not disrespectful. (Next week) to dress, like the first trial wearing shorts, hats. That's permissible," said Augustine.

In connection with this delay, Dano Anes Tambuni expressed his opinion and said that he had long dressed like that even his parents did, so that it could not be forced to use any clothes. The defendant protested that his clothes did not need to be arranged.

"I think when we were present at the trial, we were more dignified and more respectable," he said.

Dano added, if Indonesia recognizes parts of Indonesia, Papua must respect the dignity of the people of Papua. The six defendants were charged with treason and conspiracy, with Article 106 of the Criminal Code juncto Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code or Article 110 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
