The name Yane Ansanay, is no stranger to physics. Yane, currently works as a lecturer and researcher in the field of science and technology at the Cenderawasih University (Uncen) Jayapura. Yane is actively conducting research in the field of food and medicine, maximizing the basic ingredients of the land of Papua.

Yane became one of the first women from Papua with a Doctor of Physics degree. He still has aspirations to build a research center for Papuan children who study in science and technology.

"This is to maximize their role in making discoveries that contribute to the welfare of the Papuan people," said Yane, S1 Pelita Harapan University, who then continued her Masters and Doctoral degrees at North Caroline State University, in the United States.

Don't assume Yane can easily get a doctoral scholarship. He also had to compete with scientists from all over the world. In fact, this native Papuan kid can defeat the international world, and get the scholarship he dreams of.

"Scientists from America, Europe, Japan and China as well as other countries scattered want to get this scholarship as well. It's difficult, but the proof is that I can. I (I) believe that other Papuan women can, "he said motivating other Papuan women.

Yane Ansanay is one of the Founders of the Inspiring Young Papua Movement consisting of indigenous Papuan children who have worked in the community in various fields. Just mention the names: Billy Mambrasar, George Saa, Samuel Tabuni, Nani Uswanas, Neas Wanimbo, Rini Modouw, Richard Mahuze, and young Papuans from various tribes and indigenous territories of Papua.

"I dream, there will be more Papuan women who are able to compete in the national and international arena. Hopefully at the research institute, we can also oversee Papuan women to work, "he said.

Besides Yane, there is also Maya Wospakrik, an Inspirational Papuan Woman who is currently a Nuclear Physics Researcher at Fermilab, a science laboratory in Illinois in the United States. There is also Anieke Boaire, winner of the First Step to Nobel Prize, a prestigious international competition in Physics.
