Sunday (12/15/2019) was the happiest day for children in Rotea Village, Bonggo District, Sarmi Regency. How could they not, they got many gifts given by the Military Rayon Commander (Danramil 1712-06-Bonggo) Captain Inf Ratno along with members and women of PERSIT (Association of Army Wives).

"This activity is a concrete manifestation of TNI's concern for the community, hopefully this Christmas gift can be useful for the children of Rotea Village who will celebrate Christmas," said Danramil.

Furthermore, Danramil said this activity was to help and make the children feel happy on this Christmas Day, so they could celebrate with excitement.

"I hope that this kind of activity can strengthen the kinship and foster tolerance among religious communities," said the Commander.

The Head of Rotea Village, Mr. Uduas, appreciated Danramil's steps with the local Persit who distributed Christmas gifts to the children in the village.

The village chief said, the gift given would certainly be a beautiful moment and an impression would be made for the children in the village.

"Thank you to the men of the TNI for this activity. Children who celebrate Christmas are very happy and feel the closeness between the TNI and the community where in the future it will be a positive thing because they are our next generation," said the Village Head.
